I just received these balls this afternoon. They were actually delivered to a neighbor's house a few days ago then buried buy a foot of snow. He found them this morning and after 5 days my neighbor came to my office and told me he had found them. Aside from the mix up which has nothing to do with the set, this set is absolutely beautiful and well made. I own 5 bocce sets of all quality and prices and this one is the crem de la crem. I would say to anyone, if you want a one-time bocce purchase and a great one, then do it once and do it right.The Halex Platinum is a great heavy beautiful set.

Bocce balls are high quality, look great and resist chipping or scratches. Feels good in the hand. Very happy with purchase [...]. The carrying bag lacks standup support. I recommend leaving the cardboard that comes inside the bag in the bag, makes the bag stand as it looks in the picture and makes it much easier to load and carry the set.

Real nice set. May need a little bigger pinella for taller grass. Only complaint is the misleading picture of the carrying bag (not the black one); It's not as "solid" as it appears because there's a cardboard box inside it, making it appear sturdy. Once the cardboard is removed, it's a loose nylon bag. I had it one day and it started to tear already. But whatever, it's a real nice set and cheaper than the others on here.
